What Divides Us

A pregnant couple, seeking refuge from a deadly pandemic, find their isolated haven in a caravan transformed into a nightmarish battleground when desperate and hostile strangers arrive, demanding food, water and aid. This self-contained film unfolds over the course of a single day, utilising limited characters and locations to intensify the narrative. The ticking clock and dwindling resources serve to amplify the tension, offering viewers a real-time experience that keeps them on the edge of their seats.

My storytelling approach eschews grandiose, globe-trotting adventures in favour of capturing the essence of a single moment in time. Through this, I aim to provide an intimate and immersive experience for the audience, allowing them to connect deeply with the characters and their struggles.

Notably, this feature-length script has earned a commendable rank in the Top 10% among 49,500 scripts on Coverfly.com. It has also garnered recognition as a Semifinalist in the ScreenCraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy Screenwriting Competition in 2020, as well as a Quarterfinalist in The Script Lab - TSL Free Screenplay Contest in the same year.

With a total length of 98 pages, this script is primed for cinematic excellence.
